What happens in an Alexander Technique lesson

A lesson is one-to-one and will include gentle hands-on guidance in muscle use in sitting, walking and standing and some work lying on a table.

You will be learning to think about how you are using your body. As you become consciously aware you will be able to recognise potentially harmful habits and learn to move in a more balanced and co-ordinated fashion.

There is no pressure to 'get it right'.

Each lesson will last about 40 minutes; it is recommended that for your comfort you wear loose, comfortable, trousers and top.
